Summer Vacation Scheme

Two-week immersive placement (city-centre/regional firm experience) giving university students exposure to multiple departments in week one followed by a focused placement in week two. Placements include observation of live casework, internal meetings, shadowing qualified staff, feedback from supervisors and networking with trainees, partners and lawyers. The scheme is competitive and designed to identify candidates interested in training at the firm.

A-level Work Experience Placement

Two-day (four half-day sessions) placement aimed at students aged 16+ studying A-levels or equivalent. Participants spend time one-to-one with different legal departments to observe and learn about client care, case management and legal processes. Placements are held at the Lincoln city-centre office during half-term breaks and include virtual interview shortlisting.

Life-changing medical negligence settlement for 'Mr Lamb' (spinal injury)

Ringrose Law acted for Mr Lamb in a long-running medical negligence claim that began in 2014 and concluded with a settlement reached in 2020. The team led by Senior Director John Knight secured a settlement that enabled the client to commission a purpose-built home adapted to his care needs following paralysis caused by a failure to diagnose and treat severe spinal stenosis.

The firm's discrimination team secured a £17,000 award for a client who had been left repeatedly stranded and denied required wheelchair assistance by rail operators. The case combined individual compensation with changes to remedial practice for the client.
