Casa Group has expanded its presence into Scotland for the first time thanks to the acquisition of Cox & Co, which serves buyers, sellers, investors and renters in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Central Belt. As part of the transaction, John Cox, Managing Director of Cox & Co, will assume the role of managing director of Casa Group Scotland. From this base, Casa Group Scotland will continue to serve clients across Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scotland’s Central Belt, ensuring seamless service and delivery of the group’s expertise to a wider network. Mincoffs’ corporate partner John Nicholson led on the transaction, with support from associate solicitor Max Gilchrist, paralegal Jenny Harrison and trainee solicitor Holly Kirk. Matt Holbrook, commercial director at Casa Group, said: “It was a pleasure to work with John, Max and the rest of the team at Mincoffs. The team were pragmatic and very responsive throughout the transaction. “What could have been a complex transaction was very well managed, making our tenth acquisition a very smooth experience” John said: “We were delighted to support Casa Group throughout this transaction as they expand into the Scottish market, marking a significant milestone for the business. “We look forward to working with the Casa Group team on future opportunities.” John Cox added, “Becoming part of Casa Group is an exciting opportunity. With the backing and resources of Casa Group, we can build on our success and extend our services to benefit even more clients across Scotland. “The acquisition also allows us to roll out our Financial Services proposition and Property Investment arm into England.” This marks an exciting new chapter for Casa Group, enabling the group to expand while making sure Cox & Co’s clients continue to receive the same trusted service they have relied on.
