Training Contract

Jackson Lees expects applicants to secure a Paralegal or other internal support role as the primary route into a Training Contract; Trainee Solicitors are selected from within the Group and the firm usually implements several training contracts each year. The firm currently runs training contracts (while LPCs remain valid) and also operates alternative qualification routes (Graduate Apprenticeship Scheme for SQE and CILEX CPQ).

• Academic Requirements: For the Graduate Apprenticeship Scheme the firm states it is available with any degree; non-legal degrees require completion of the Preparation module. Training contracts are filled internally (paralegal/support staff), indicating preference for applicants with legal workplace experience.
